Hi There ♥
This is my first post for the month of September, show me some love and click that follow button so that you can receive new notifications when I upload. And yeah let's get started.
So in today's post I'm going to share with you some hair tips to make your hair grow longer, smoother, and more importantly.. healthier.
Now let's start, are you ready?
- Now before you jump into the shower, treat yourself and your hair a bit, and apply some hair mask, or oil, or a lemon if you have straight fine hair, or anything that you find works for you really. I have some posts before about some hair masks, and treatments.. I'll link them here if you are interested. And while you are applying your mask to your hair, massage your scalp with your head upside down, this will work in your favor in the shower, out of it, and in the long run.
- While you are in the shower, the first thing you want to make sure of is using the right products for your hair type.. And I have a whole post for this which is linked here. Start by taking your shampoo massage it through your scalp to make sure you got rid of all the build up dirt and oil, AND DO NOT SCRUNCH YOUR HAIR STRANDS AND ENDS, INSTEAD MASSAGE THEM SOFTLY AND GENTLY. This way your not creating friction, which can cause frizz and split ends. follow it up with some nice hair mask -like the ones you buy from stores-, rinse with warm water, and follow it up with your conditioner, try avoiding your roots, as you have applied some oils to them, and they get oily, too. However once you've done all of that, switch rinsing your hair to cold water, so that you lock the moisture in.
- After you are out of the shower, start drying your hair with a towel, try as much as you can for it to be a microfiber one, but if you can't, just take a T-shirt and dry your hair with it, after squeezing as much as you can before you get out from the shower. wait until it is 50% dry, and start applying you hair cream, this will ensure that your hair sucks moisture more, and it won't feel as greasy or sticky when it dries. After you are done with that start combing through your hair, with a wide tooth comb or a wooden one, as plastic breaks the hair and damages it. Start brushing from the end and make your way up, this won't create a huge knot, and it will lessen the chances of breakage.
- Once you are done, you are free to style your hair as you want, - If you are using a blow-dryer make sure your hair is 80% dry-, and use a heat protectant, however if you want no-heat hairstyles, start doing them when your hair s 80% dry. And I will have a post about that here.
Let me know if you want to know more and I will have part 2.
Love you soo much♥
