How To Air Dry Wavy Hair

Hello!
I can't believe that we are at the end of November, the year is almost gone by. but don't worry, I've been here for 3 months only. Which is crazy. Time goes by so fast.

So Today, I wanted to share with you some tips and tricks about wavy hair drying.

Now when I go on YouTube, or just do some research, all the wavy haired gals that I come to see always blow dry their hair, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, I find it extremely damaging for your hair, and not to mention that if you have, long ,thick hair, then your day is wasted.

With that being said, I gathered some tips and tricks, some amazing ways to air dry my hair and have it soft and frizz free. So if you're interested, then please keep on reading.

So, I'm going to section this to three sections, Before, during, and after.

Before:
Before jumping to start you bath, I would suggest applying a hair mask, or hair oil of some sort, to keep the hair nourished and moisturized, which helps keep it healthy.

Some of the best hair masks are here, here, here, and here

During:
Now while you're in the shower, first of all make sure to use a shampoo that's most suitable for your hair type, and this way, you will make sure that you clean it, without damaging it.

Don't scrub your hair too hard while you're shampooing, as the friction will cause breakage, and this will help frizzy come through.

Try using a deep conditioning mask, as this will also make sure the strands of your hair are soft and moisturized, and you won't struggle in the end.

Finish off with conditioner, and then rinse your hair with cold water, to seal in the moisture.

After:
Now all of the steps above are to help us here, so when you're out of the shower, Try air drying with a micro-fiber towel, or an old T-shirt, and this will make sure no friction happens with your hair, and that will lessen the frizzy-ness.

When you hair is 50% dry, apply a hair cream to it, and then brush it with a wooden comb, as it is softer for your hair, and tie it in a pony tail to tame it. Then when your hair is 70% dry, apply an oil or an oil replacement, and then brush your hair with a wide toothed comb, and tie the braid in a bun so it won't crunch up. Or you can put it in a bun, or in a fishtail braid, or two braids for more defined waves. Depends on the wave type, and your preference really.

Let me know what you think, what's your ideal way of air drying your hiar, and I'll see you soon.

 Bye ♥
