So to show how much I am grateful, I decided to talk about something that might confuse some girls out there, and that is determining your hair type!
Now we all know that there are 3 most common hair types...
- the gorgeous straight hair that makes us all jealous of its softness.
- the amazing wavy hair with the best of both worlds.
- and the curly type that many of us wish to have.
Now how to determinate which one do you have? I will link a picture & a video that will describe it better.. so that we can talk about the problems each type has, and how to fix them, with some amazing hair products once you get to know your hair type.
Now that you know your hair type, -if you don't message me so that I can help- ,let's talk about some common problems for each hair type.
alright so, first we will talk about straight hair.
straight hair is known to be the ideal hair type, because it is sleek, and gives a neat appearance to the person who's wearing it! however, there are some problems like it being fine at most, that you can't do anything with it, and sometimes it can be think and very hard to manage.
Another problem is that straight hair lacks some volume, and it gets greasy if you don't wash it every day.
Solutions:
-Try searching for good mouses that gives volume, also try cutting your hair in layers.
-If you suffer from thick hair, try cutting your hair, or search for masks that will tame frizz and fly-aways
-Try applying lemon on your roots so that it won't get greasy as fast, and if you apply lemon after you get out of the shower, you will have some amazing curls and volume. But, be careful, because lemon contains citric acid, which is a bit drying, so try not to use so often.
- Always go for products that are meant for your hair, otherwise your hair will turn into a giant mess
Next up!, we'll talk about wavy hair.
Now wavy hair is known to be the best of both worlds, as you get the volume of curly hair, and the softness of straight hair. Well, that's what they think.. if you have wavy hair-like me- you know how frustrating it can be if you don't take care of it.
One of the most common problems is that it can get dry and frizzy very easily, brushing your hair can cause it look weird and poofy, and not to mention when it is flat at your roots and a lot of weird volume within the strands.
Solutions:
You need to keep moisturizing and nourishing your hair at all times, and try deep conditioning your hair once a week to keep it healthy and bouncy.
- Always go for hair products that are meant for your hair type.
And last but not least, the gorgeous Curly hair.
curly hair is known to be super duper thick with so much volume it makes the other hair types so jealous, but what comes with it is the dryness of the hair, and not to mention the frizzy-ness.
Solutions:
-Try to find a super hydrating hair mask, and deep condition your hair twice a week.
-Try to find some hair products that are rich in proteins, so that it can hydrate, nourish, and tame the frizzy-ness.
-And yes you guessed it, go for the hair products that are meant for your hair type.
Now you must be guessing why she has mentioned "go for the hair products that are meant for your hair type." well, each hair type has a different problem, and the companies manufacture their products depending on that, which means if you have straight hair and went ahead and bought a curly hair product, your hair will be so greasy like, no joke, because curly hair products are rich with oils and proteins and other stuff that will help them with their hair!. Same goes with the curly hair, if you use the straight hair product, your hair will be so dry and frizzy, because it doesn't have as much oil, and it contains some ingredients that dry out the hair so it does not get greasy as fast. however wavy hair gals, it is rare to find a product that is meant for you.. so you go and find what you find is more like your hair and suits better, and purchase it.
So I hope this was helpful..
